Choosing the Right Type
For durability and easy maintenance, choose the right quality for the project room. The most practical wallcoverings are labeled SCRUBBABLE and the next level are labeled WASHABLE.
• Scrubbable wallpapers are best for high-traffic areas such as foyers,
corridors, bedrooms and kitchens.
• Washable wallpapers usually have a thin coat of vinyl over printed
paper. The are best suited for low-traffic areas such as guest bedrooms.
• Paintable wallpapers create a deep high-contrast texture. Before being
painted, these products are washable. After painting, their cleanability
will depend upon the paint used and the quality of the paint job.
Removal Features
STRIPPABLE products and PEELABLE products are designed for ease of removal when it is time to re-decorate.
PRE-PASTED products have the paste already applied to the back of the product, ready to be activated by immersing in water. |
